Dr. Judy M. Vance is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Iowa State University and a Faculty Fellow of the Virtual Reality Applications Center.  She is currently working at the National Science Foundation in Arlington, VA as Program Director of Engineering Design.

Research interests include virtual reality applications in mechanical design, numerical methods that facilitate interactive design, and spatial mechanism design.
