This library consists of seven significant buildings of Western architecture in their original or intended form and structure. Seven historic periods are represented. All models were constructed as solid models which have produced the following final results: These include rendered images for still viewing, a video movie for a guided tour, and a VRML model for user navigation.

The purpose is to combine information technology and VR technology to build an interactive environment for perceiving architecture that cannot be seen three-dimensionally from a remote location. This will provide a new visual tool and learning experience to strengthen teaching and learning in the undergraduate history courses.
