Evrim is working with Elizabeth-Ann Thompson. She is earning her PhD in curriculum and instruction along with her HCI co-major. Through her academic studies in the instructional technology field and her professional instructional design experiences in an instructional software development business, she has experience in many aspects of instructional design and development. Her research will focus on the interaction between computers and humans to design and develop better learning and teaching settings. Her research interests include designing and developing web based learning environments with a focus on usability and ubiquitous computing.

Her long-term goal is to be a researcher and a professor in the field of instructional systems design, development, and evaluation where she could use her experience to propose contemporary solutions to educational settings.
