Paul is working with Dr. Lisa Nolan in the department of Veterinary Microbiology & Preventive Medicine at Veterinary Medicine. Pursuing a MS in Human Computer Interaction Paul is working with Avian Pathogenic E. Coli (APEC) in the lab and applying the bench work to creating a plasmid genome database that will facilitate collaborative study of plasmids to perform cross-database searches for genes and proteins, alignments among plasmids, and visually displaying and organizing immense amounts of genomic data.
