Patrick is originally from Minnesota where he grew up. He attended Simpson College in Iowa where he majored in Computer Science and Psychology. Patrick is working with Dr. Judy Vance on haptics and virtual reality applications. His thesis interests revolve around Open Source software communities and improving collaboration. Patrick expects to graduate from the HCI program in 2013. After graduating, he would like to work in industry.
