Geraldine is from Cleveland, Ohio. She received an MFA in Industrial, Interior and Visual Communications Design from The Ohio State University in 2002. The title of her thesis was: “Developing Spatial Visualization Skills Using Games, the Internet and Graphical User Interface.” Her professional experience has garnered her several patents in aerospace interiors. Her intended research objectives will contribute to lessoning the digital divide for the “greatest generation” of Americans. This opportunity for research takes on an added level of importance to her because she currently face the realities of transitioning with her parents as they enter into their eighties.She plans to graduate with an MS degree in HCI in 2012. In her spare time she paints, draws, gardens and takes walks with her rat terrier.
