John was born and raised in Urbandale, IA and is employed by Pioneer Hi-Bred International as a Senior Automation Engineer. He earned his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Computer Science from Luther College. HCI is of great importance to him, as he is always looking for ways to make his clients' interaction with software and hardware easier and more intuitive.
