BarleyBase, A Prototype Online Database for Cereal Microarrays with Integrated Tools for Data Visualization and Statistical Analysis

PI:  Julie Dickerson

Funding Agency: US Dept. of Agriculture

Summary: The development of microarray technology enables the parallel assessment of thousands of genes in a single experiment. In contrast to investigating individual components of a biological system, system-wide analytical approaches can be pursued. The long-range goal of this project is to utilize barley as a model diploid grain crop to develop genomic tools for functional analysis of Triticeae genes.
