Summary: The goal of this project is to integrate modeling and simulation (M&S) tools with visual environments in order to allow practice with real-time decision making against key design characteristics.
One of the current problems with CAD models in VR systems is the need to translate each model into unique formats that are not recognized in many VR environments. Thus, models have to be recreated for multiple systems, creating significant costs and taking considerably more time. INDEV hopes to streamline this process, providing both cost and lead-time reductions
